Jimmy Wales’ Keynote Speech and Q&A at Internet Day 2017

Keynote speech

#IEinternetday welcomed the founder of Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales to give the keynote speech at Ireland's Internet Day in Trinity College Dublin on the 26th October 2017.

Jimmy asks if we live in a post-truth world, and gives insight into the world of Wikipedia. He also outlines his newest venture WikiTribune which aims to combat 'fake news' which just recently went live. Jimmy endorsed IE Domain Registry’s call for a new Internet Policy Forum in Ireland to give Ireland’s business owners, and its citizens and communities, a voice on how the internet is developed, managed and governed in Ireland.
